Proyecto Jakaña is a project led by Impacto Social with Fundación Solydez in efforts to generate more awareness towards sustainable and healthy eating in El Alto, Bolivia. They did so by training a group of underprivileged street food cooks in El Alto, Bolivia, “las vendedoras de los agachaditos”, to cook their staple meals in new ways and see the art of cooking as a way to empower themselves and generate a new movement of conscious cooking. I was commissioned to create a short video to encapsulate what they had done so far.
